There are several towns within easy reach of Clifton. These include:
Bedford (12 miles), Biggleswade (6 miles), Hitchin (7 miles), Letchworth
(9 miles), Shefford (1 1/2 miles), and Stevenage (13 miles).
Each has a variety of banks, shops etc. and all (except Shefford) have swimming pools and good rail links.
